Due to a mechanical failure of one of the four gates of Bedford Road Sluice, the Environment Agency performed emergency works to install dam boards to safely isolate the affected gate. The permanent repair of the damaged sluice gate will take some time, and we expect works will progress with minimal impacts to the navigation.
