Following updated government guidance on outdoor activities, some restrictions on the private use of powered craft for leisure cruising on the above waterways are lifted on Monday 1 June 2020. Lockdown in the UK is still in force but if you are the owner of a private use powered craft, you may now use it to take short day trips.

Please be aware we have received reports of a large tree which has fallen into the River Stour at Cornard Lock on the Suffolk side, approx. 10 metres from the weir along with a smaller tree that had fallen earlier in the same location.

We have received reports of two trees which have fallen into the river Stour at Stratford St Mary, one is close to the upstream side of the lock with the other reportedly being located approximately a mile upstream from Stratford St Mary.
